Here is your "lion's share" of all the great activities our campers are enjoying...

Yet again our stretch of good weather continued yesterday, with barely a cloud in sight. Lower Camp Girls delighted in Chef Ronen's culinary wonders, aka really yummy chocolate chip pancakes. The girls awoke to the sound of Caribbean-style steel drum music as the Lokanda Express rolled up to their campus. What a great start to the day!

Speaking of treats, in Cooking, campers are working this week on sweet and savory. They are making pizza cups and acai-style smoothies. Juniors had so much fun rolling the dough, layering on the cheese and sauce, and baking these delicious appetizer-style bites. Of course, the highlight is sampling their work.

Nearby, at Woodshop, Rangers chiseled and painted their pencil holder and game board creations. Their finished products are really amazing! Nearby, Cadets worked on their Lacrosse skills and ended an action-filled period with an even more action-packed scrimmage!

In tournament news, Euro broke on Middle Camp and is in the first week of game play. The boys are so pumped for this summer-long intra-division tourney. Teams for MCB Euro 2022 are as follows:

Black - Lenkar Rods Green - Spud Wrenches Purple - Hay Hooks Red - Scrub Planes Yellow - Bush Hammers Blue - Bull Floats

White - Mortar Hawks Tie Dye - San Angelos

First three picks in the Euro 2022 Draft went.... #1 - Eli Zucker, #2 - Max Fliegel,

#3 - Ethan Sackstein.

Looking forward to a riveting season!

Who doesn't love a surprise? Last night, the Rangers and Juniors were in for a real treat! They took a mystery bus ride to see the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders baseball game! The boys had so much fun watching this Triple A affiliate of the New York Yankees! Who knows...maybe they spotted the next Aaron Judge! Our Subbie Boys and Girls had their fair share of excitement as well. They went on their own mystery bus ride to the movies to see Minions! Movie theater popcorn, a drink, a show, and great company. What a nice night!

On girls side, our Daisies visited the teepee! They had so much fun cooking banana s'mores tortillas, singing campfire songs, and bonding as our youngest division! Our Crescents went to our music studio to do some karaoke and start practicing for our upcoming Girls Sing.

Our Lower and Upper Teens as well as CIT's were off this morning for a fun day trip to Mountain Creek water park. They will spend the day on water rides with friends. It is sure to be a great time!

We had amazing results in our LIT's yesterday, winning all but two matches! Lokanda won the overall team championship with some real tennis talent right here in Glen Spey! Spencer Keschner once again stunned us all with his tennis skills, beating a formidable adversary from Timberlake West 6 -4! What a match it was! The final championship matches for the girls will resume this weekend. Chloe Lee once again is putting her best More news to come!

It certainly is a Wishful and Wonderful Wednesday!
