Here is your "lion's share" of all the great activities our campers are enjoying...
Yesterday morning we were greeted by sunshine and warm temps, setting the perfect stage for Day 2 of Color War! It was another awesome day here at camp, full of campers in tutus and face paint and arm bands and bandannas--the dining hall was literally a sea of spirit! What an exciting day to be in Glen Spey! Here are some favorite cheers you might hear if you were lucky enough to be strolling through our picturesque grounds:
"L-E-T-S-G-O...that's the way we spell let's go....let's go...yeah yeah...let's go...Go Grey/Red team!...."
"Watermelon canteloupe, come on baby tug that rope!"--for Tug-of-War of course--or "burn that rope" on the night of Rope Burn.
"Here we go Red/Grey team, here we go [clap, clap]..."
"G-R-E-Y, G-R-E-Y... G can't hear you, R a little louder, E that's better, Y now you got it, G-R-E-Y!" (care of Waverly Fogel)
"Let's go Red team....Red team let's go! [clap clap]"
