Shooting the hoops !

 

At Lokanda we are very lucky to have three great high school and college coaches working with our campers. Each of them has been teaching basketball at Lokanda for no less than 15 years. We have traditionally maintained a commitment to excellence in both our boys and girls programs thanks to the outstanding level of coaching each summer.

Our 2 main courts have just been renovated. New lighting, new baskets and an electronic scoreboard gives us a top notch basketball facility. Baskets can be adjusted in height and courts are situated so that different stations can be set up to teach our campers basketball skills. We've got a special court just for our Teen boys and our indoor court is a terrific venue on rainy days. Kids who commit to learning how to play Basketball will make great strides over the course of the summer.
