From Glen Spey to Broadway !

 

At Camp Lokanda there will be many opportunities throughout the summer for us to showcase our campers' theatrical skills. Under the outstanding leadership of our resident director CL, the Drama Department puts on several plays over the course of the summer. All of the campers who try out will get into one of our performances as a principle actor, a singer, or as a member of the singing and dancing troupes.

Each show is a delight to behold as a marvelous cast of characters quickly involve us in their story. Costumes, scenery, loads of musical numbers, and great acting are perfectly combined under what appears to be effortless direction.

While our theatrical productions seem to take center stage, there are many other chances for campers to perform on stage in Talent Shows and Skit Nights.
